Canadian ALMA Science Advisory Council (CASAC):
The ALMA Science Advisory Council (ASAC) is an international committee which advises the ALMA Board on science-related issues, e.g. the proposal submission/evaluation process, etc.
CASAC is a committee reporting to the Canadian ALMA Project Manager, and which provides input to the Canadian members of the ALMA North American Science Advisory Council (ANASAC). The ANASAC in turn provides input to the North American members of the ALMA Science Advisory Council (ASAC). The current members of CASAC are:
•Christine Wilson (McMaster University)
•Brenda Matthews (NRC-HIA)
•Doug Johnstone (NRC-HIA)
•Douglas Scott (UBC Vancouver)
•Eric Rosolowsky (UBC Okanagan)
•Marcin Sawicki (St. Mary’s University)
•Tracy Webb (McGill University)
Canada currently has one member on the ASAC:
•Doug Johnstone (NRC-HIA)
